I have had this chair for just over a year and not only is the design great, the quality is too. I'm a designer so I have to sit for hours at a time and this chair offers excellent support for the long hauls and doesn't make you feel hot either. For the last 6 weeks, I have been dealing with sciatica and a herniated disc in my lower back and this chair is the ONLY chair I can comfortably sit in without experiencing intense pain. Enough said. Had the chair for a few weeks now, overall I like it. It looks nice, it was easy to put together, and overall I think it's a quality product for a reasonable price. However, I have noticed some shortcomings. The knob on the spring tensioner isn't the best, and can be hard to get a good grip on to fight the increasing tension, especially after the first quarter of an inch or so of travel. I might just replace it with an extra shiny bolt so I can use a ratchet to adjust it and then leave it. If you're a slightly wider fellow like me, you'll probably fit in the chair just fine, but the armrests will get in the way if you want to spread your legs out a bit. It'd be nice if you could lock the recline in another position or two. Probably should've seen this coming, but aluminum is a lot harder than cheap wood, so beware of nicking your other furniture. There are some sharper edges, and while most of them are just in profile and are still polished and smooth to the touch, I did get a good cut on my toe from one of the casters (though it hasn't happened since, so maybe I just did something dumb).
