How long does it take to ship my order?

All in stock orders placed before 5:00 PM EST will usually be shipped out within 2 business days via FedEx Ground. Once shipped, it takes anywhere from 1 - 5 business days for delivery. To view the estimated shipping speed to your door, check out this nifty map!

 

Do you have any discounts if I buy multiple products?

Yes! We offer volume pricing depending on your geographical location and quantity of items required. Volume pricing usually starts at 10 items. We've supplied furniture for small boardrooms all the way up to hundreds of chairs for large hotels and movie sets. Big or small, we've got you covered. Please contact us to discuss your project. I've seen similar chairs online that are less expensive. How are yours different?

Super discount furniture companies don't care about longevity, and source the cheapest products they can find from overseas trading companies. Anyone can post "five star reviews" on their website to fool consumers, but we know you're smarter than that. Learn more about our reputation and reviews.

We spend a great amount of time and money into working with only top tier manufacturers across the United States, Europe and Asia to ensure quality. We've tested those cheaper options, and can tell you without a doubt that our quality is superior. Small details like stronger metal, wood, hardware, and fabric -- along with high tech manufacturing all add up to make a huge difference in whether a chair holds up for a few months or for several years.

We have offices across the United States and manufacturing across the world — with our main fulfillment center located on the West Coast.

 

Do you have a showroom that I can visit?

In order to give you the best pricing across all our products, we keep our external costs (like showrooms) as low as possible — and instead, offer one of the most generous trial periods online.

 

Do you have any other chairs besides the ones displayed on your website?

Not at the moment. We do release new products on a quarterly basis by listening to our customers and the design world at large, so if you’re looking for something specific, e-mail us or check back from time to time.

 

Do you have a warranty on your products?

Yes. Unlike many of our competitors, our products are backed with a minimum 2 year warranty that covers the entire chair.

 

What is your return policy?

We have an industry leading 60-day RISK FREE return policy in the rare event you aren't satisfied with your purchase. However, your item must be in like new condition upon return, and certain restrictions apply. You can find the full details of our return policy here.

 

What are the differences between the SOHO Ribbed, SOHO Soft Pad, and SOHO Mesh Management chairs?

Each SOHO chair has a distinct style and comfort level. The SOHO Mesh management chair is the most firm out of the box as it's a nylon mesh seating surface. The SOHO soft pad chair is the softest out of the three. The SOHO ribbed is not too firm, and not too soft - the most popular in the SOHO series. All of the SOHO chairs require a 3 - 4 week break in period to achieve maximum comfort.

 

What is the difference between the SOHO and the SOHO Premier collection?

The SOHO collection is a less expensive chair with design cues loosely based on iconic mid century modern office chairs. They feature a chrome plated steel frame, cast aluminum arm rests and base, and a 2 year warranty. The SOHO Premier chairs feature top grain Italian leather on both the front and back sides of the chair, a polished aluminum frame, base and arms, and a 3 year warranty.

Important: Among our original chairs, tables, and file cabinets, Laura Davidson also produces certain chairs that are inspired by pieces from last century — first imagined by greats such as Starck, Le Corbusier, and Wegner. By no means are we claiming that our products are authentic pieces from those time periods or that they are originals from their descendants or corporations.

 

What material is the seating surface of your chairs?

We have different options depending on the chair - Italian leather, leatherette, and nylon mesh are our options for the SOHO collection. Leatherette is a synthetic, imitation leather that has the same feel, look, and properties of real leather - but less expensive. It’s also considered a vegetarian leather, is very comfortable, breathes well, and washes easily. Italian leather is genuine leather that is slightly softer and carries the aroma you expect from leather. Nylon mesh breathes exceptionally well, has a firm seating surface, and looks very stylish.

 

What's the best way to clean my chair?

We've found that the Mr. Clean Magic Eraser works wonders on chairs upholstered in leatherette and Italian leather. Simply wet the eraser, ring out, and rub gently on the chair. For fabric cushioned chairs, Resolve will help remove any dirt.
